Astico Tour - Trekking Routes Folgaria

Along the initial stretch of the Astico stream, in the Trentino section, mills and hydraulic sawmills have sprung up. Today, these artifacts, which have been the protagonists of the rural economy of the mountain until the first great world conflict, have remained several testimonies, some really significant. Going to rediscover it is a journey through time and history.

The ecosystem surrounding a stream is always very rich. Flowers, plants and woody species typical of the humid mountain environments tell about precious corners of nature, to be discovered and rediscovered. Among them is the signs of the secular business of man. The Acyclical Tour leads to the discovery of the ancient mass of the Gate (mill and bakery remains) and the fascinating natural environment that accompanies the Astico stream.
